I guess we can all agree, that whether you care about politics or not, the future of America and therefore the world really is at the crossroads.  As for me, I did watch bits and pieces of both conventions.  I'm an independent, therefore, I thought I should take time to listen to both party's somewhat. 

I really appreciated Cardinal Dolans benediction, along with its exhortation. We truly are at crossroads and lets be honest, both parties have very different views on everything that matters to those of us that care deeply about the freedoms, liberties, responsibilities, and rights given to us by Almighty God, and so as for me, in the midst of a time to ponder an essential decision, nothing is more refreshing to my soul, than benediction, reaching out to The Almighty, for His direction and guidance as we ponder an important decision. And therefore, I truly appreciated the Benediction and I am happy this article includes the complete prayer.

Wow, I just saw this large tomatoe plant tree on the facebook page of Natural Wellbeing.   This is really fascinating, For more info on this tomatoe tree plant, check out this Purdue University page. Its believed to be a native of the Andes of Peru, or Chile, Ecuador and Bolivia where it is extensively grown. It is not tropical, but sub-tropical, and grows best where temps are 50 degrees F or above.

Food? Yes, I said food. Well for some reason, many of us are now starting to find out, that the food we have been taking for granted for years: is not exactly what our version of food should be. And we don't even know the whole story, we just get hints. Hmmm. Some of the food we eat may be irradiated, but thats ok. Well, fortunately there is a grassroots movement for self sustainability on the horizon. So many of us are trying our "green thumbs" at going back to the basics of gardening for some of the food we eat. And we are finding out that its amazing how much we can grow in our own backyards. Hey my tomatoes are doing great.
