Planting Seeds of Action during the seasons of our lives.

Planting Seeds of Action during this season, to harvest in the next season of our Lives...

An interesting article on Planting Seeds of Action during this season, to harvest in the next season of our lives... written by Jim Donovan, a motivational speaker and coach, author of "Handbook to a Happier Life."

In the article, the author asks, what action will we take now, that with some love and nurturing, will harvest a splendid and bountiful winter? Will we lovingly plant exciting new seeds of action that will sprout into a more interesting lifestyle or will we let weeds grow by themselves? He suggests we devote some time and energy to planning what we want to harvest in the upcoming winter months. What can we do now, that will result in a bountiful harvest for ourselves and our loved ones?

He reminds us that if we continue with the same actions we will continue with the same results and if we want new and different results, we must take new and different actions.

He reminds us that if we desire to look and feel great by Christmas, then we should start with a healthier food program and exercise regimen, NOW. Dreaming of starting a business? Start taking the actions that will bring you towards your goals.

Jim Donovan suggests take some time now to think about what Seeds of Action we can plant this fall to ensure a beautiful, bountiful and exciting winter harvest.

Seeds of Action

: The Importance of Non-Hybrid Seeds

A website specializing in Non-Hybrid Seeds and great plant info...
Non-Hybrid AND Non-GMO seeds available

Non-Hybrid or Open-Pollinated seeds allow the gardener to collect seeds from a crop for future planting. Hybrid seeds do not. All Heirloom Organics Seed Packs are 100% Non-Hybrid AND Non-GMO (genetically modified) and specially sealed for long term storage. Use now AND save for emergency. All from the same hermetically sealed pack!

You can order a variety of packs: Grain packs, Tobacco Packs, Medicinal Herb packs, check it out...

WHY?  BECAUSE: Put simply, the future of the world's food supply rests in non-hybrid seeds. The push toward hybridization and GM foods is becoming irreversible. Hybrid food sources are patented and "owned" by the patent-holders. It is, in fact, a form of patent-infringement to attempt to collect and plant seeds from many hybrid varieties

Keep It Growing Forward

My intention for this blog, has to do with seeds and plants, how to propogate plants, either by seeds or cuttings or roots. But as I think about seeds, I cant help but to be reminded of how many ways the term "seeds" is often used, ie,"you reap what you sow", "seed money",etc. So this site is all about seeds, the many types of seeds that keep "things going and growing forward".

This site is about propagating plants and the timeless seeds of good works. Many types of good works.

"Here we do not speak evil of anyone", St. Augustine of Hippo

Today is the feast day of St. Augustine of Hippo, he lived from about 354 to 430 A.D. He is celebrated in The Church, for several reasons. For one thing he was converted from a wild lifestyle to a lifestyle of piousness and righteousness. He is a celebrated convert who became a "Doctor of The Church"because of his great wisdom and desire to help as many people as he could.

Just think of the phrase quoted about," Here we do not speak evil of anyone". A small phrase with such great impact, in that statement alone is enormous teaching.

The Seeds of Sustainability...More and more people are discovering that living sustainable lifestyle is easier than most imagined, but beside that living sustainable lifestyle is very rewarding physically, emotionally and spiritually. I think most of us can agree, that we humans always feel better and healthier when we take time to commune with nature.
